What WeightWatchers Clinic offers

Med+ is a weight-loss medication membership delivered with the affiliated WeightWatchers Clinic (formerly Sequence): telehealth consultations, prescriptions, insurance navigation, and the WeightWatchers program. It is a membership, not per-visit (program page, plans page).

Medications: brand or compounded

Brand only on the pages we read: Wegovy pill and injection, Zepbound, Mounjaro, Saxenda, Foundayo, plus metformin and naltrexone-bupropion; Ozempic is named on the semaglutide page. A WeightWatchers blog post (updated May 13, 2025) states the company no longer offers compounded semaglutide following the FDA's shortage resolution, and that compounded drugs are not FDA approved. No compounded product is currently sold on any page we read.

Price as published (2026-09-04)

$25 a month for the first two months on a 12-month plan, then $74 a month; the plan auto-renews for a further 12 months at the same rate. The cost of GLP-1 medication is not included and the page says so. Non-GLP-1 oral medications are included when filled through the mail-order partner. The clinic terms refer to an initial consultation fee and say lab work may be required before the first consultation; neither amount is stated on the pages we read. Shipping cost is not stated.

Prescriber model

A private telehealth consultation with a board-certified clinician; the terms say a synchronous video consultation is required for some states and ages, and the oral-medication page describes video visits with physicians trained in obesity medicine. The terms name the prescribing entities: Weekend Health of Texas P.A., Weekend Health of New Jersey P.C., Weekend Health of Pennsylvania P.C., Brantley T. Jolly M.D. Professional Corporation, WW Clinic PLLC, WW Clinic West PC, WW Clinic Midwest LLC and Weekend Health of New Jersey II LLC. We found no list of states served.

Pharmacy sourcing statements

The mail-order partner is named: Carepoint, 9 Commerce Drive, Schaumburg, IL 60173. Other prescriptions can go to a pharmacy of the member's choice; oral kits only through the preferred pharmacy. No 503A or 503B, in-house pharmacy or testing statements, which is consistent with a brand-only list.

Refund terms as published

The subscription fee is non-refundable once a billing period starts, and the initial consultation fee is non-refundable after signing. The unused portion is refunded if the member cancels for a medical reason or if WW terminates the membership (excluding upfront fees). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription or commitment period and is processed within 72 hours, through account settings, email, the care team or customer service; the cancellation page adds a web link and 24/7 chat. We found no stated refund if a clinician does not prescribe, and no stated remedy for damaged shipments.

Support and privacy

The care team is described as available almost 24/7, with in-app messaging and 24/7 chat. No response times stated; the only phone number found is a privacy contact. The general privacy policy excludes HIPAA data held by the clinic entities and says WW may sell identifiers, demographic and commercial data and share with advertising partners, with an opt-out link. A separate notice of privacy practices covers the clinic entities and says health information is not shared for marketing or sold without authorisation. LegitScript Certified and TRUSTe seals are displayed.

  • FTC matter 1923228 (2022) concerned the Kurbo app and children's data; it is unrelated to GLP-1 services and is noted only for completeness.

None of these documents moves a score.
