What Hims & Hers offers

The Hims Weight Loss Membership gives access to GLP-1 medication if a provider prescribes it, plus Care Team support, weight tracking and a smart scale. Medication is billed separately, monthly or upfront depending on plan. Cancelling the membership also cancels any active medication (weight loss FAQ).

Medications: brand or compounded

The weight-loss page lists brand products only: Wegovy pill ($149 a month, including a "microdosing plan" at the same price), Wegovy pen ($199), Zepbound vial ($299), Zepbound KwikPen ($299), Foundayo pill ($149), Ozempic pill ($149), Ozempic injection ($199), Mounjaro ($1,899). The Ozempic pill page notes it may be prescribed off-label. A URL for compounded semaglutide redirected to the program page. Whether any compounded GLP-1 is currently sold is unknown from the pages read. The company's Form 10-K for fiscal 2025 describes compounded GLP-1 products dispensed through affiliated 503A pharmacies and a 503B outsourcing facility, which is why the supply-chain row below carries a re-check note.

Price as published (2026-09-04)

Membership $39 for the first month, auto-renewing at $149 a month, medication not included. Medication prices per product as listed above. The pages read do not say whether a product's price rises with dose, and do not state a lab cost.

Prescriber model

Depending on the state, treatment may be decided without a video visit; where a visit is needed, a video or audio appointment is scheduled. The clinician is described as a state-licensed provider; the site does not break that down into physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant (the 10-K says the affiliated medical groups employ or contract all three). The program is described as not available in all 50 states, without an exclusion list (weight loss FAQ). The terms name state-specific medical groups in the form You Health of [State], P.C. or P.A.

Pharmacy sourcing statements

The terms name six pharmacies: Apostrophe Pharmacy LLC, XeCare LLC, EHT Pharmacy LLC dba Curexa, CD Pharmacy LLC d/b/a Red Rock Pharmacy, AnazaoHealth Corporation, and Strive Specialties, Inc. The pages read do not say which dispenses which product, give no 503A or 503B designation, and carry no third-party-testing or certificate of analysis statement. A LegitScript approved badge is on the program page.

Refund terms as published

Changes or cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the next payment processes; a refund cannot be guaranteed once the pharmacy has processed an order (support article). The terms state no refunds for partially used subscription periods, with case-by-case refunds at the company's discretion. Cancellation is through the account. We found no stated refund if a provider does not prescribe, and no stated remedy for damaged shipments.

Support and privacy

Support ticket form, in-account secure message portal, and 24/7 messaging with providers. No phone number found; response times described only as variable. The privacy policy explains that Hims may act as a HIPAA business associate of a pharmacy or medical group, says the medical groups have adopted a notice of privacy practices (we found no link to it), discloses that third-party analytics and advertising partners can access mobile identifiers, and offers a targeted-advertising opt-out.

Regulatory record, primary documents only

• FDA warning letters, September 9, 2025, to Hims & Hers Health, Inc. dba Hims and dba Hers: the FDA stated that promotional claims for compounded semaglutide were misleading, including claims implying equivalence to Ozempic and Wegovy.
• FDA warning letter, December 12, 2025, to MedisourceRx, a 503B outsourcing facility: unapproved and misbranded products and failure to submit adverse event reports. The company's 10-K refers to a December 2025 letter to its outsourcing facility.
• FDA press release, February 6, 2026: the FDA said it intended to act against non-FDA-approved GLP-1 drugs and named Hims & Hers.
• FTC press release, July 29, 2026, and case page: the FTC with Utah and California filed a complaint in the Northern District of California alleging that health data was shared with advertising platforms and alleging deceptive billing and cancellation practices. The complaint is pending; it is an allegation, not a finding.
• The FDA's March 3, 2026 press release about letters to 30 telehealth companies names no recipients.

1. Do you currently sell any compounded GLP-1 product? Which of the six named pharmacies would make it, under 503A or 503B, and can I see the certificate of analysis for my lot?
2. Which states are excluded, and does mine require a video visit?
3. Is the $199 Wegovy pen price the price at every dose, or the starting dose?
4. If the provider does not prescribe, is the $39 refunded?
5. What is the remedy if my shipment arrives damaged, and what is the window to report it?
6. Where is the notice of privacy practices for the medical group treating me?
